Online Ticket Booking System

Ticketsathi is a web-based online movie ticket booking system developed using the Django framework. It enables users to browse movies, choose showtimes, reserve seats in real time, make secure online payments and receive digital booking confirmation. The application is based on Model View Template (MVT) architecture and has multiple payment gateways like eSewa and credit card services. To prevent doublebooking, the system implements concurrency control and real-time seat locking mechanisms. The backend is built with Django and MySQL and the frontend is built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap. Additional features include QR-codebased e-tickets, booking cancellation, and an administrative dashboard with earning insights
